With 18 years of real estate experience, Neel’s specialization includes ground up development, from regulatory approvals to contract administration in addition to his depth of asset management expertise Neel combines his expertise as a registered real estate broker
in commercial real estate sales and transactions with his understanding of an investment’s business plan, generating a result that is well aligned with market demand and needs of the customer.
Neel has worked as a Development Manager for SmartCentres During this tenure, he successfully obtained site plan approval for 3 large format power center developments totaling 10 Million SF of GBA In another diversified role with Calloway REIT, Neel conceptualized, obtained site plan approval, and oversaw the development of over 75 000 SF of retail product.
Additionally, Neel completed a ground up, 125 000 SF industrial development in Burlington for Concert Properties Prior to immigrating to Canada, Neel executed various real estate development projects in India which include a retail plaza and a residential Community as well.
Further to his development experience, Neel has experience working as an asset manager with responsibility for C $ 500 Million in assets with a major retail REIT, C$ 400 Million in industrial and office assets with a pension fund, and in excess of 300 Million in residential assets with a private equity firm.
Neel is an active member of the Toronto Real Estate Board (and was part of the commercial committee from 2018 2020
